Roy Frederick Erickson76, of Indianapolisdied December 9, 2004. He was born in Chicago on August 16, 1928 to Elsa Irene Jacobson and Roy Frederick Erickson, who preceded him in death as well as his brother, Richard Erickson. Roy graduated with a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University, and was the President and CEO of Ball Memorial Hospital. Mr. Erickson served in the US Air Force, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Muncie, VASA Order of America, Fellow in the American College of Hospital Administrators, and Second Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife Julia Raffington Erickson; sons Peter and Stephen Erickerson; daughter Elizabeth Spiegel; five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held December 18, at 2:00 pm in the Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 N. Meridian St. with viewing from 1 pm until the service.
